RASTALIENS
Rastalians are Jurgen Kassel and Ralph Knobloch.
Since about 15 years they are DJ´s. After 3 years with dj-ing, Jurgen and Ralph realized, that the records from other people were not enough for them. And look at this, since about 9 years they are producing their own psychedelic trance. Rastalians started in a small cellar with a little sound system. At the beginning project just used simple software-synthies and a small sequenzer program. Because of their limited possibilities, it was not easy for us to produce a good quality of sound...Hard work and a lot of enthusiasm caused a booking from some friends in Switzerland. They wanted a live-act. Rastalians' first set, which was played with some quite old synthies, as like Roland 101 and Korg Trident. On a special day, Jurgen and Ralph decided to send our first songs to some different labels around the world. Wepacked this CD´s together with all our positive vibrations and what happend: Yaniv, from Hadshot Haheizar released our first two songs. "FREAK BOOSTER" and "UNIDENTIFIED SPECIES". After playing on many parties around the globe, like Portugal, Netherland, Mexico, Greece, USA, UK,etc. there was time for an album which was released also on Hadshot and more should follow on Boom! Rec.(which released also the 2nd album), Digital Psionics, Ketuh, Glowing Flame, and so on.
BRAINCELL
Braincell is a solo project of Switzerland based Producer Ralph K. Ralph has been developing his unique style over the last few years and has built a great reputation around the world with his psychedelic, twisting leads and full-on driven beats.Starting in 1994 as a producer and DJ he founded the project RASTALIENS together with his friend Jay. Their latest album "Back on earth" was released on Phar Psyde Records in 2007. More info about RASTALIENS you can be found on their website www.rastaliens.com
In 2003, after he moved to Switzerland with his wife, he decided to start his own project BRAINCELL. The first album "Universal Language" was released on Glowing Flame Records in 2005, followed by an impressive string of releases on various compilations and labels. In 2007 the second album "Transformation of reality" came out and the 3rd album "Frequency Evolution" was released in September 2008 again on Glowing Flame Records. To date he has played on every major continent in countries such as Brazil, Australia, USA, Italy, Germany, UK, Greece, etc. and received much praise for his energetic and emotional live shows and DJ Sets.
Since 2007 Ralph has also producing tracks under the project name SOLAR SPECTRUM, which represents the more psy-progressive & ambient side of his creativity . The debut album of SOLAR SPECTRUM was released at the end of 2008 on Free Freak Music as well as several tracks on different labels.

EPHEDRIX
Ephedrix are Jochem Peeters and Joris Marckx. They were born in a town close to the city of Antwerp, Belgium. Since many years now they are one of the icons of the Belgian psychedelic trance scene. In 1997 they began to experiment with electronic (techno) music and in 1998 they appeared on stage for their first live act at a local party. The first goa party they attended in 1999 made them slowly 'move' into psytrance ... Later on, often visiting goa parties, Jochem and Joris were completely inspired by the vibe of this crazy music and the atmosphere at these parties. After a while the minimal music was replaced by melodic trance with heavy rhythms.
And that’s what Ephedrix is all about: psytrance with uplifting melodies, groovy percussion, crystal clear bass lines and a pumping sound. In 2005, after joining the Dacru Records Mexico tour, they decided to join this promising label. Shortly after their unique style was quickly picked up by party promoters around the world. So far this has taken them to various countries all over Europe and more exotic locations as Japan, Mexico and Peru.
With various compilation releases under their belt, the debut full album ‘Far Away’ came out in April 2008. The music was an instant success and even picked up by people as Christopher Lawrence and John 00 Fleming. In September 2009 a second full album ‘Expander’, a special remix album, astonished the trance community. It includes some of the finest names of the full on world. Silicon Sound, DNA, Protoculture, Talamasca, Electro Sun, Aquila, Chronos and Lamat are all part of the tracklist.
